PT Armor’s exclusive four dart contured armor system is the most comfortable armor manufactured for female officers.  Our female armor naturally accomidates the female form while maintaining the same thickness as its male armor counterpart.  Demand armor that has been built for your specific body shape, don’t settle for male armor that has been modified for females.

Fitting:

We understand the importance of comfort and fit with body armor.  That is why we truly custom fit our vests to the end user.  However, general sizing is available upon request. To best meet women's needs, PT Armor questioned female officers to find out directly from them what they wanted and what best fit their bodies, while still providing the protection they require on the street.

PT Armor has developed a more comfortable, streamlined stitching design that cuts down on bulk. A male vest worn by a woman with an ample chest pushes the sides of her breasts out to the side, leaving no side coverage on her chest.

PT Armor uses a different form of darting, rather than using three pieces of ballistic material, as is traditionally done, the company stitches four panels to each other. Each subpart has five plies that when put together forms a natural-looking cup and it's as thin as a male's vest.
